Book Event w/ Laura van den Berg

Hey, Florida friends (and all friends, really), I’m doing this virtual event at Books & Books on Thursday, with the incredible Laura van den Berg (whose books you should be buying, stat). Laura has written about and truly gets Cuba, so I’m super excited for the conversation. Books & Books has a special place in my heart as the first place where I discovered readings and dreamed of one day doing the same. I hope to see you there!

Virtual Book Event at Skylight Books w/ Christopher Castellani

Following my book launch on Monday, I will be doing a virtual reading at Skylight Books on Wednesday, in conversation with my dear friend and mentor Christopher Castellani, author of Leading Men, which is currently being made into a film. So fitting for an event in Los Angeles 🙂 Please come hang out with us, and tell your West Coast friends!

Boston Globe Review: “Taut and Propulsive.”

What a delightful surprise waking up to Nina MacLaughlin’s incisive review feature of THE PLAYWRIGHT’S HOUSE in the Boston Globe: “Taut and propulsive…Suarez, with subtle force, gets at who is acting and who is watching, within a family, a city, a country, and a culture.”
